I’m building something and need your input.
Coming soon, I’ll launch my website for The TRI MethodTM—Test, Run, Iterate—which applies product discipline and athletic endurance to creative work. This methodology helps writers and creators finish what they start through a systematic, repeatable process that enables creative self-actualization.
I have…
Completed over 45 races over the last 18 years, ranging from 5Ks to a full 140.6-mile Ironman
Written 4 full-length sci-fi/fantasy/speculative manuscripts since 2020
Published one novel, multiple short stories, poetry, and art in literary journals and magazines
… all while having a full-time job and raising two kids under the age of fifteen.
The question I get asked most often is, “How do you do it all?” My answer has traditionally been, “I don’t waste time,” but when I dig deeper, it’s my systems that set me up for success. It’s the micro decisions I make on a daily basis.
I’m no different from most people: I have dreams, goals. What sets me apart is I put the systems in place to achieve them.
I execute methodically.
And now, I’d like to share this with you, because one thing I’ve discovered about myself is I love seeing others succeed.
Someone needs to hear your story, your poetry, your songs. Someone needs to see your art, appreciate your perspectives, know they’re in good company. And if you’re lucky, they’ll be compelled into action, either to help themselves or others (or both!).
But first I need to know: what’s stopping you from completing your work?
Fill out this Google Form to tell me about your biggest struggles in completing creative work and what products & services you might be willing to pay for in the future. In exchange, you’ll receive my free guide in a few days introducing The TRI Method in under 15 minutes; it’s enough to inspire you to start finishing your creative projects today.
This is practicing what I preach: Test before building. Understand the market and my target audience. I want to solve the right problems for you, in a way that works best for your learning style.
Looking forward to your input—in the comments or the form. Let’s finish what we start, together.
Thanks for reading! This post is public so feel free to share it. I’d love to get as much early market feedback as possible on this idea.
