Happy Spring Equinox. As you’ll hear in my first audio share, I don’t have a dedicated practice to mark these moments, however, this one felt different and special…and it was totally unplanned (*by me at least :)*)
It can be powerful to set an intention or claim the energy you want to bring to a moment, season, or event. I’m leaning into this quote for my next chapter, which captures how I’m feeling right now.
―Anais Nin
This is a powerful invitation for this Spring Equinox. Like mama nature is showing us, it is time to bloom.
When we think about ‘blooming,’ stepping into a new expression, or, even, finding purpose, we may be tempted to look outside ourselves. We’ve been conditioned to go on a hunt as if there’s something to be found ‘out there’. But from my experience, the only way you’re going to find ‘it’ is by listening to what’s inside, paying attention to those little nudges, and having the guts to step out and into what is true for you.
A flower isn’t checking in for permission or advice from the other buds for ‘go time’. When it’s ready, it allows the natural process to happen - it unapologetically opens, and stands in its beauty. Like Nin’s quote alludes to - this can come with resistance, or maybe even a little pain, however, it’s worth it. We are beautifully limited with our time here and sometimes we just have to go for it.
I invite you to join me in setting an intention that feels right for you… possibly a practice that challenges you to find a new part of yourself, or helps you release an old story. It takes a lot of courage to let yourself be seen, but that is when the magic happens.
If you need some inspiration, look up, and around you. There are plenty of clues, and colors to show us what’s possible (as evidenced in pictures below - beauties that I spotted on one of my recent walks).
Cheering you on in your own journey of blooming - however that looks for you.
