This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime Philadelphia event! The Benjamin Franklin Bridge is celebrating its 100th birthday, and for one day only, it will be closed to all vehicle traffic, allowing visitors to walk across one of Philly’s most iconic landmarks.

After your walk, head to the Camden toll plaza where you’ll find:

  • Live music

  • Carnival rides

  • Food trucks

  • Family activities

  • Historical exhibits

  • Entertainment throughout the day

No tickets are required, but organizers encourage advance registration.

One of my favorite summer festivals returns to the Parkway!

  • Live music

  • Interactive art projects

  • Family-friendly performances

The outdoor festival is completely free, and Philadelphia residents can also enjoy free admission to the Barnes galleries, but gallery reservations are required and open July 9.

One of the biggest events of the summer has officially taken over Lemon Hill in East Fairmount Park!

The FIFA Fan Festival is completely FREE and features:

  • Giant screens showing live matches

  • International food vendors

  • Philly favorites

  • Interactive soccer experiences

  • Live entertainment

  • Kids activities

  • Merchandise

  • Amazing skyline views overlooking Boathouse Row

This week’s headliners include:

  • Leon Thomas (Wednesday)

  • Wisin (Sunday)

Summer reading is even more fun with Summer Quest!

Visit your neighborhood library to sign up for free reading challenges, special performances, crafts, prizes, storytimes, and activities happening all summer long.

Every Sunday, families can enjoy free hands-on fun at Spruce Street Harbor Park.
