I am simply joining the ever-growing sea of musicians that find it near impossible to communicate with friends/fans via social media. Having done the foolish thing of rejecting mailing lists as ineffective many years ago, I am finally caving to the wisdom of numerous friends that have convinced me that it is not too late to start a mailing list. Imagine my surprise when I found that mailchimp no longer has a meaningful free tier. A brief search led me here, to substack, and I hope this can be a place to send out the occasional newsletter-style communication.
