We are a week away from summer break kicking off, and the excitement is high in our house. Everyone is looking forward to the free days of summer. However, something happens every single year. A few days into summer break, our house starts to feel chaotic and out of sorts. It is the summer transition period.
Whenever we transition to a new season, there is an adjustment period. During this time, you may wonder if you are going to make it through the summer. You may start to feel stressed and overwhelmed. In the past, this stressed me out. I would send frantic texts to my husband about summer and the kids. Now, I know this adjustment period is going to pass.
However, one thing that helps during the adjustment period is to have a plan. I am not talking about a minute-by-minute plan for summer, but a gentle summer rhythm to guide you through the summer days. Today, we are going to dive into tips to create your own (at the end of the post is a downloadable printable packet for you as well).
