Teaching is a joyful calling, and when we gather together, joy emerges!
Six years ago, Kepler Education hosted our first Consortium Conference in Louisiana—the Southern Consortium of Classical Educators. That year, we hosted a one-day conference and luncheon to encourage and equip families and educators already involved or interested in learning more about Classical Christian Education.
Over the years, we expanded our efforts to include New England, Sacramento, and now for our third year, the Southeastern Consortium of Classical Educators in North Carolina.
The Consortium of Classical Educators is a national effort to provide resources and regional connections for Christian families, teachers, and educational organizations to expand the reach of classical education and foster human flourishing for generations to come.
As a collaborative initiative of Kepler Education, the CCE is a platform for parents, classical Christian educators (i.e., homeschooling parents, classroom and online teachers, and college and university professors). CCE publishes helpful articles, a podcast, and an academic journal for parents, students, and fellow educators who are serious about the life of the mind, classical Christian education, and the liberal arts.
The Southeastern Consortium of Classical Educators is an annual, regional effort to bring together amazing people who love Classical Christian Education (or want to learn more about it) into the same space. The goal is bring together the right people such that teachers are encouraged, leaders see more clearly, and everyone has opportunity to meet other people engaged in the work of nourishing souls.
This year’s Southeastern Consortium will be hosted by Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Raleigh.
