A car burst into flames on a busy motorway.
Traffic was held on the M2 coastbound between Junction 2 A228 (Strood/Rochester) to Junction 3 (Chatham/Rochester).

Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire engines to the scene at 10.24am today.
A spokesperson said crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using hose reel jets. They stopped firefighting efforts just after 11am.
The police said they were called to reports of a vehicle alight, and were in attendance while the road is cleared.
“No injuries have been reported,” a spokesperson said.
Pictures show a small grey vehicle with plumes of smoke and orange flames spilling out of the bonnet.
A passerby said everyone had got out of the vehicle.
