Keltie Knight · The F*Them Theory

It’s very F-Them Theory-coded, which means I know the weather is about to get bad and I’m going to be cold for the next six months, my summer of fun is over and it’s back to work and the grind.

So, I want to surround myself with serotonin cuddles brought on by packages arriving at my door. So here’s what I have hoarded for this fall. (click the pink titles for shopping links)

The New Balance 960 sneaker: It’s the right amount of chunky. I got the white on white. They are so comfortable. I can work out in them. I can hike in them, but they look equally as cute with a little barrel jean, a legging, or a sweat pant at the airport.

The holy grail of beauty! If I had to go on the Survivor Island and I could only bring four things with me, these would be the four I would bring:

  • The Clearstem pregame mask. Leave it in your shower. Put it on while you’re washing and conditioning your hair, and you literally look like you went and got a facial.

  • The Chanel stay-on lip color in the color “tender beige” actually stays on and is gorgeous.

  • The K18 Air Wash Dry Shampoo goes on wet and then takes away your greasy hair without making it white or making it look like you have dandruff.

  • The e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter. It’s not technically a foundation, but I literally wear it on all the red carpets like it is foundation. It’s lightweight, it’s so beautiful, and it’s perfect for when you get your ugly fall-not-sun-kissed skin and you wanna still look alive.

For home stuff (do you care about these things?)

BRUMATE: I know you do not need another water bottle, but I swear to God, this one will change your life. I got gifted one last year, and I have literally not used a single one of my other water bottles since. It has this little purse handle on it that you can easily throw on your wrist when you’re carrying a million things, and it has a flip on the top so it will not leak.

BEIS WORK TOTE: I’ve also obsessed with this tote. I know there’s a zillion work totes and you can get a dupe, but this one actually has everything incredible in it, and I’ve never stopped using it.

Right now I’m reading this book, “Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt.” It’s told from the point of view of death, which sounds dark, but it’s actually just the most lovely read.

I went through my closet and took a look at all of my old celebratory or band T-shirts. I put two Dolly Parton T-shirts up and a Diet Coke T-shirt I was never wearing on my Poshmark. I also put up a pair of Gucci sneakers that now, that I had my hysterectomy, don’t fit my feet anymore. Instead of keeping them around just because they were fancy, I realized I can sell these and spend the money on something else. They already sold!

I’m also getting rid of the weight of other people’s judgment. Literally going into the F-them season of my life, three months until my book comes out. I’m going to keep hustling it so hard because I believe in it so much. I hope that you guys let go of whatever you’ve been holding on to.
