Okay, quick poll time:
Up until this year, I would have answered NO. Despite being a registered dietitian for an entire decade, I’ve never made it to the proverbial “Dietitian Disneyworld”.
That all changes this year, except instead of just attending my first one, I’ll be presenting a workshop!
Lauren Manaker and I will be hosting “Expertly Quoted: How Dietitians Can Get Quoted and Grow Their Influence” to help dietitians who are interested in shaping the nutrition conversation in digital media learn how to get their interviews quoted!
Whether you’re a nutrition student or you’re a seasoned professional who is thinking about or just starting to dip your toes into the media world, this workshop will show you how to turn your knowledge into an interview response that journalists are excited to use and feature.
Every week I feature media opportunities in this newsletter (and you can find countless others on HARO, QWOTED, in Facebook groups, on LinkedIn, on Substack, on Threads… the list goes on). So often I get responses from people who really, truly know their stuff, but I can’t use them because they’re not written in a way that’s quotable.
We have a limited number of seats, as we’ll be doing several hands-on activities to learn through practice. If you’re interested, register, and I’ll see you there! If you’re not sure it’s the right fit and want some input, send me a message!
And now… on to the thing you really came here for…. NINE interview opportunities and a NEW OUTLET!
If you are a journalist who would like the opportunity to submit your interview requests to a group of highly engaged nutrition pros each week, sign up here! And if you know of any other journalists who might appreciate the link, please share!
Know someone who would be a good fit for these media opps? Don’t be shy.. use the button below to share it with them!
