It took 91 pages to insufficiently articulate the reason you were against your very existence… Clarence. We do not suffer fools. Nor do we entertain adults, who are actively engaged in promoting the subjugation of others. We have seen the contortions of leaders turned modern day Svengali, “divide and conquer.. if they are to busy hating each other, they won’t have time to hate us…” amassing political power from the masses.. while standing on their necks, the fruits of cultivated discontent.

(Project 2025) .. the names flood social media while barely visible through traditional outlets - babies don’t shoot themselves through passenger windows, water bottles are not death sentences and, Black People do not hang themselves. We do swim. Boarders do not prevent despicable acts. The girls and women keep going missing.. they are still scalping people. The continuing “immigration enforcement” leaving trails of, “Oops, wrong person..” dead. The DOJ ADA guidance on the heals of attempted stripping of citizenship .. states are eagerly dismantling home and community based services. And in all of this, voices decry the simple ask of solidarity in a quest for liberation, specifically and deeply rooted in respect.

Fruits of discontent in this harvest season are bountiful, they are easily reached and consumed in glutinous fashion. We can witness for ourselves the attributes solely found in humans, assigned to political and/or corporate entities as if that absolves the individuals. “The Court” - with deliberate intent, understood the positionality given to the seats they occupy, displayed the fundamental tension between the promise of the country and its reality. More importantly for years people and organizations have placed themselves as the voices/leaders of social justice … “Here is our statement on _____”

The immigration act of 1924 .. this is a mere forty-one years after the introduction of the “eugenics concept”, aimed at racial purification. Forty years after the act, America codified civility into law. There was and is a virulent strain of hate that exists in the country, often reflected in its causes, movements and, politics. In the time since the first harvest of discontent, the technology has advanced the speed of the flourishing new crops. Views framed on the nation selectively through “leftist” or “Marxist” prisms, for America is absolutely in line with is core operating principles. 50 plus one .. white America skews towards a plurality - 53/56 absolutely believe their upbringing. “Replace us? Fuck no!! We stole, I mean conquered I mean settled this great nation!” .. marching through Charolette, “Jews will not replace us!” Tikis ablaze - entire industries abandoned equally and inclusion with haste. Operatives maneuvering with influencers and parties.. we have told the world how to cure the ills that emanates from the “empire”, however even in the face of undeniable truth.. you would rather be racist.

-From “theirs” to “ours”: The bearing of discontented fruits

It was Ted Koppel saying, “Day 415 ..” A governor and B-movie actor - he spoke the language of restoring “America”, in lockstep with the silent majority. The Dirty Harry/Charles Bronson era gave way to Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson. The country wanted to move on from this reminders of Vietnam as a failure, the Iran Hostage Crisis was the perfect opportunity … Reagan won 489 electoral votes, crushing landslide. The beginning of 12 years of a presidential conservatively led government. The seeds planted had bloomed - discontented fruit ripe for picking.

The pendulum swung back, we lost Justice Thurgood Marshall - they sat with the news and understood, they gonna do what they want to. Anita Hill be damned. We did give you all amnesty because who wants to pay $5 for a tomato? And as for the Cuban Boat Crisis, we hate Castro - you have a provision for immigration. The wall of Berlin came down with communism and the Soviet Union. Our allies in Afghanistan drove the Red Army out. Now we did union bust but, a few airplanes crashing is just a blip.

The broken windows policy, a new iteration or the same old thing, criminalize their existence and enforce the laws. “Kavanaugh Stops” are allowed because, “…you look like you speak Spanish.. show me your ID!” The most recent version of vagrancy laws - “.. too many niggers hanging on the corner!” There were three of them having a conversation, like most friends do. Now there are too many day laborers in front of Lowe’s, too many fathers walking with their 3 year old daughters - shoot then recite the talking points. We told you that the status was “temporary”, yes we’ve hired you for direct care but, we do not want you here or them - alive.

It is never about the people…

-A century plus .. the masks and actors change, not the script

From 1797 to 1869 there were 15 iterations of political parties. “Democrat” “Republican” labels survived the early days of the republic, at times becoming conjoined at the hip. Issues of forced chattel enslavement, upholding treaties with indigenous nations, westward expansion and immigration, all shaped what it was to be in a “party”. The province of white property owning men - the vote. Halfway through Reconstruction - 1869 the duopoly calcified, a defacto enshrinement of the two-party system. The province of white men. 1866 Civil Rights Act - Black men can now vote… did, got elected and governed for eight years. Whiteness gave birth to its love child - Crow, Jim Crow.

1920 A mere 46 years after the stamping out of Reconstruction, that is all it took to give (white) women the right to vote. That vote did not abolish segregation. The gender equality fight still was/is exclusionary among disability and racial lines. Reproductive health and rights are often framed through the white cultural lens, a lens of how best to exert dominance and control. But the white woman vote, now she can participate in the game. At home, I can now have an opinion and a say, via the ballot. Trump received more than half of their votes - more, than half.

There is this comedic silence. An admonition that, “yes, we are aware…and?” An engineered social tension, done with a very specific purpose and desired outcome. A question that often goes unanswered is, “Why is there a struggle to achieve social justice in America?” - answers are given, framed minus the acknowledgment of the seed which gave bloom to the conditions. Being aware of social constructs by which your “advocacy” or “political ideology” hinges, requires a conscious bifurcation of intelligence.

A “State’s Rights” argument.. similar to the reasoning behind defense of their “peculiar institution”. On all fronts the assault on our humanity is only outmatched by, the indifference to it. “They want to take us back to .. “ - you are not an idol passenger. Strangely though, the aversion to naming the thing and acting accordingly, means “discomfort” and not perpetuating the lie of whiteness. It’s ok to just be white - it is not ok to practice whiteness. Those two things are not inextricably connected. Having a belief that recognizing acknowledging and respecting another’s humanity somehow diminishes yours .. “They’re trying to replace us!”, irrational fear breads fragility - a violent fragility.

We just hit __ followers!!” .. the oddity of commodifying the never ceasing destructive effects on oppressed communities - information for liberation is always necessary, performative leadership and advocacy is not. From Clubhouse to TikTok, COVID-19, podcast equipment and a WiFi connection - a community that prior only had access to each other via advisory meetings and conferences, now can share and use their voices. DisCo, writers, artists, scholars and activists - the Disability Community because of technology and social media, elevated our issues into the national zeitgeist. Wait, wait … monetize my content?? Yes! “Do all the things.”

What changed from 2020 in 2024? As usual the American government functioned in its duopoly agreed upon disfunction. The emergence of the “influencer” - an evolution of the “uber advocate”, no longer the professional volunteer. No more having to argue that your lived experiences are valid as empirical evidence. It is now a paid position. You can teach disability studies and drive narratives. Yet, the thing that eludes us the most is.. unity. October 7 - watermelons in your profile showed your support and the run up to the election, the convergence of all of the nation’s poorly masked woes took place.

There was another opportunity to participate in guiding the nation to an outcome that would not lead to decimation. “Never Kamala” “Uncommitted” “MAGA” .. online “influencers” staking positions that placed foreign policy genocide support ahead of the state sanctioned genocide here. Intentionally dismissing the hypocrisy of labeling Black America as “colonizers” and “genocide supporter” - the check cleared. Having a disability and holding anti-Black sentiment, weird. The entirety of the movement was/is framed and modeled on the struggle of Black people.

The canisters fired in both Gaza and Ferguson were U.S.- made.

Worldwide, activists began making ideological and human connections, especially in Ferguson and Palestine. Ferguson protesters held up signs affirming their solidarity with Palestinians, while Palestinians issued Palestine solidarity statements, including advice on how to deal with tear gas. One year and one month later.. the world saw America as it had longed to be…again. The 92/80% .. “damn, we really all we got.” And, liberation still isn’t inclusive or accessible - still coming along tho. 18 months after his swearing in, all of the things that had led to having influence - A Black farmer, they were granted permission to not apologize for “being white”, the watermelon had “nigger” carved into it. It is not a blip if you are focused on ableism. The issues of deadly ICE encounters are the most pressing if you are focused on immigration. Attacks on gender affirming care is much more pressing than the murdering of Black Transgender People if you are focused on competing in sports. I get it .. so do they and you.

Amazing how easy it is to get people to co-sign and promote their own destruction. Endless debates on “x in the community is the reason we as a people can’t advance..” - truth by omission. I ain’t mad, hey get it how ya live it… in July they found more bodies hanging in trees, more bodies in lakes and oceans, more bodies… and yes, they are killing you to.

That is the backdrop discussions on which hierarchical structures among marginalized/oppressed communities are being held. An awareness that there is a hard line on how much humanity folks will afford affirm and accept. Oppression/marginalization - very profitable and excellent content. To be sure this is no different than the age of the telethon, the entertaining inspirational and compelling emotional stories of overcoming life’s obstacles. GRWM as I attempt to navigate through the, realized and actuated hate towards my existence because…[insert some stupid ass reason]. As we draw closer to the 2026 midterms, the need for not just a response but and ending to the current state of affairs - undeniable.

However, the lure of having your name above the marquee annnnnnnd a brand deal??? Why do Advocacy groups and organizations exist … here, in America?

-The Building of a Post-Liberation Nation: the architects of true freedom

The ending of Temporary Protective Status for Haitian and Syrian immigrants, the knocking out of the third leg of a three legged stool. Done so banking on a very simple premise, it never fails. The warehousing and trafficking of immigrants under the guise of Immigration Detention, clunky but tolerated as expected. Done so banking on a very simple premise, it never fails. Implementing a eugenics agenda with little pushback .. like clockwork. See, when it is about everything except what it is… the fruit will always be deliciously effective.

Tactically .. without a clear stated objective or goal, organized movements fail to get results. More importantly, with all of the persistent violent assaults through policy and memos, a no more relevant time for cross-movement cross-community solidarity. Here, in America that evasive thing of solidarity.. the smoldering ashes of Civil Rights and Voting Rights, are testament to the willful disregard for the root cause. We have seen how the “greater good” allows leadership to be abused, one is too many victims on the way to justice. Cesar Chavez.

True liberation here, in this country has always been a painfully obvious choice. In organizing - meet the people where they are. What does that mean for disability rights? What does that mean for immigration policy? What does that mean for foreign policy? What does that mean for voters rights? What does that mean for judicial reform? What does that mean for criminal justice reform? What does that mean for healthcare reform? … when the very core each one, both causes and solutions - your view on Indigenous Peoples and Black America.

Racism in social justice movements proves that you’ll never beat the charges. However, starting with an unambiguous understanding and knowledge as to the “why?”, the organizing is needed. Be self aware as to your own bias - keep dat sh*t to yourself, no expression through words or deeds. Understand that a part of an identity does not exclude others from sharing your struggle. If you are acting in these spaces - intention matters, harm reduction practices are proof of the harm. Do not cosplay allyship.

Since the Commonwealth Immigrants Act in 1962, the government had curtailed the free flow of migration, and the proposed bill would taper that flow to a drip. When seeking justice here, in America, true architects understand on which foundations they wish their work to rest. The state of the country demands composed competent deeply knowledgeable and truly trustworthy committed leaders.. either lead follow or get out of the way..

WE are not a FULLY REALIZED MOVEMENT until, WE are a FULLY INCLUSIVE MOVEMENT ..
