What Sees This Sentence

What sees this sentence has no position.

It is not behind the eyes. It is not the witness of thought. The moment seeing becomes a witness, distance has already formed. The assumed self is patient. It prefers becoming the seer to being seen through.

The mind cannot enter the now. It can only picture it, and the picture appears in what it was reaching for. There is no failure in this. A location was never on offer.

Replay, rehearsal, verdict, scene — different textures of the same turning. Each turn implies a centre. The centre never arrives except as implication sustained through movement.

The scenes that fill the silences are not stray. They are housekeeping. The centre remains implied as long as rotation continues. When it pauses, nothing collapses. Nothing was being held.

There is no awakening to arrive at. The one who would awaken is the implication itself. So there is no death to fear either. The drama of dissolution dresses the absence of anyone leaving as a noble exit.

The seeing that sees this sentence saw before the sentence began. It does not leave when the sentence ends. It has no age. It has no story to keep.

Silence is not what arrives when thought stops. Thought is what occurs in silence. They were never two.

Nothing has been uncovered. The cover was a thought.
