I am pleased to present a 46-minute video (see below) from Pacific Front Untold, titled “Unit 731's Darkest Plan Exposed: They Sent Plague Balloons to America – New Evidence Will Shock You!”
The YouTube interview uniquely explores information found nowhere else in video format about recent research I undertook that demonstrated that Japan’s Fu-Go World War II balloon attack on North America included at least some balloons carrying anthrax and bubonic plague pathogens. The entire Fu-Go attack took place from the final months of 1944 through April 1945. The majority of the balloons carried incendiary devices or no weapons at all. Whatever amount of balloons carried biological weapons were likely an experimental trial, amounting to no more than 10 percent of the devices sent.
There were a number of sources I drew from for my articles on the subject, including declassified FBI memoranda, including one memo from former FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover to the directors of the CIA, Naval Intelligence, and Air Force Special Investigations. Also, unlike most English-language articles on Fu-Go, I utilized Japanese sources, including books and newspapers, as well as one unique report by a local ad hoc investigation that originated in Niigata, Japan.
As with my work exposing the U.S. use of biological weapons in the Korean War, the official establishment has ignored my research. However the best thing readers and listeners can do is evaluate the material presented and think for themselves.

The Fu-Go interview is conducted by PAE Executive Director Jenny Chan. Ms. Chan is a prodigious researcher herself, and has taken an extraordinary amount of time and effort to track down documentary information on crimes such as Unit 731’s use of biological weapons (BW) and illegal experimentation in China during the 1930s and 1940s.
Jenny’s latest effort has been a close examination of the papers at the Hoover Institution Archive of the late Unit 731 historian Sheldon Harris. Her recent video on this subject is both informational and riveting!
As regards the Fu-Go story discussed in the interview linked in this article, briefly, it concerns the discovery of two FBI communications that describe Fu-Go’s use of biological pathogens as a weapon. New documentary evidence shows that U.S. officials found anthrax on Fu-Go balloons that landed in Nebraska, and North and South Dakota, and suspected that outbreaks of plague could be traced to balloon attacks in Alberta, Canada and New Mexico’s Sandia Mountains.
I also reveal in English for the first time, that Japan’s Fu-Go intercontinental balloons themselves were a unique joint enterprise between leading Unit 731 personnel and the Imperial Japanese Army’s secretive Noborito Research Institute just outside Tokyo.
One of the hundreds of balloon attacks, although not known to carry any BW payload, occurred when a Japanese balloon hit high-power lines feeding the Manhattan Project’s top secret plutonium-making facilities at Hanford Engineer Works (HEW) in Washington State. This temporarily shut down the production of plutonium that was to be used in the Manhattan Project’s Trinity test, as well as for use in the bomb that would later be dropped on Nagasaki.
My research revealed, contrary to every newspaper and academic account of this episode, that HEW had been under a balloon assault for at least two months prior to the hit on the Bonneville power lines. There is also some information indicating a similar number of balloons were sent in the direction of the center of the U.S. secret atomic bomb program at Los Alamos, New Mexico.
By the end of the video interview, and my article, I think readers will see that American, Canadian, and even Japanese citizens have not been told the entire story about the Fu-Go attacks. I believe the origin of the secrecy on this matter is linked to both the decades-long secret agreement between Unit 731 scientists and military officials and the U.S. Army’s Chemical Corps, headquartered at Ft. Detrick, and secret balloon projects the U.S. undertook to use Japan’s idea of a balloon delivery system for biological warfare aimed at a country’s agriculture.
Today, establishment historians and government officials are averse to reporting this material as the exposure of these secrets could very well be politically inconvenient for the U.S.-Japan alliance, which the U.S. considers key to its anti-China posture in East Asia.
