Berlin’s new Samurai Museum kind of appeared out of nowhere, but it turns out it’s actually legit.. and very good. It’s built from a private collection, and every item feels hand-selected with deep love for detail and genuine respect for Japanese craft. Mana designed a tarot deck (n = 22) together with visual kei artists during the pandemic. Also has a guidebook with more photos and descriptions. I had been listening quite a bit to Malice Mizer during school (…to anything you could get hold of in Europe in the 2000s).
