They say that if you don’t have at least one mental breakdown a month, you’re not doing it right.

“They” and “it” aren’t important, but the point here is that I had one. A big one. Because I’m a working mom of teenagers, married to the kind of woman who would bottle my sweat and sell it as perfume but also kind of hates that I never take out the bathroom trash, I’m a novelist (with all the clusterfuckery that entails), and have a bad habit of taking on more than I can handle.

And now I’m here.

So we’re all going on a journey together. There will be accountability, there will be tea, there will be book news, and there will be… uh… other stuff?
