Week 12 || Letting Go of Expectation || Go Lightly
Twelve Weeks! We made it!
How are you all feeling? Overwhelmed, excited, catching up? All of this and more? It’s a big deal starting on this course, so please don’t fret if you had a stop/ start approach or if you’re taking a break - and these notes are ready when you are.
The last week reminds us to pay attention and then let go of expectation, relinquish control and ‘trust the process’.
For this eldest daughter of an eldest daughter, relinquishing control is my kryptonite, which is why I find this process confronting every time I do it. But finding flow when in my work, in my writing, when I fuck - all of that - I am slowly learning to hand myself over to it. It remains a mystery as to how that works, that’s part if the adventure.
