Let’s Dupe My Jewels....

One of the questions I get asked most is “can you tell me about your necklaces?” And honestly, sometimes I get a little embarrassed answering. My tennis necklace and my Cartier piece were both things I bought myself at significant moments, the kind of purchases that mean something bigger than the jewelry itself. I earned those. I should be proud of them!

But here’s the thing I actually want you to know: you do not need to spend what I spent to get the look. There are PLENTY of dupes out there that give you the exact same effect without the sticker shock, and I’ve been quietly collecting them for months so you can see some options for your own personal stack no matter your budget. I included some of the higher priced pieces I wear in case you are working with that price point as well.

I’ve split this up into 3 categories of my favorite jewelry pieces: Diamond earrings, Diamond Necklaces, and colorful stone necklaces. Let’s begin!

My everyday earrings (pictured above) are from Lizzie Mandler and I think they are so special but not too flashy that I can’t wear them every day. These are real diamonds so they are expensive but I think they’re a really great option for a special present. Also! you can use code Katie15 for 15% off :) I found 2 dupes for MUCH less expensive but they still look nice quality! These are gold plated and cubic zirconia (looks like real diamonds) at $78 a pair. A little drop that catches the light when I turn my head mid-conversation, and they photograph like they cost three times what they do. Nobody needs to know that but us. These look almost identical and are on sale for $44!

Let’s move on to some colorful necklaces! For me, a neck mess is all about mixing in color. I’ve cycled through many different color strands of beads but lately I’ve been just full sending the whole rainbow. The top necklace is from Becket & Quill and made of real Opal beads. At $185 it’s definitely not terribly expensive AND I have a discount code for the whole website… Katie20 :) If you like the rainbow look but want something a little more elevated, I love this bezel set necklace that comes in 4 different lengths.

The cheapest dupe we have in this category is from one of my tried and true favorites: Bauble Bar. This one is a little chunkier so may be a fun statement piece and I love that you can add an initial to it.

Our final category is of course, the tennis necklace. Listen, I think everyone should have something that sparkles in their neck mess at all times and a tennis necklace is going to do that every time. You can get the real thing (diamonds) from just about any jewelry store in the world and it’s going to look beautiful. I especially love mine from Dorsey that is made from lab grown white sapphires which makes it $750 as opposed to…. a lot more. I know that’s still expensive so I found some other dupes! While this one is a little different since it is bezel set, I love that it still has the graduated look that the more expensive ones have. Since its made of cubic zirconia, its only $114 which is a really great price for the same look. This one is the same price but made of crystals set in the more traditional uniform tennis necklace look.
