Today, we were lucky to grab Joyce in-between flights and she and I managed to connect while she was in the Delta lounge at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport!
I wanted to hear from Joyce about the latest, extremely rare moves in two different federal courts to peel back the fiercely protected secrecy and confidentiality surrounding grand jury proceedings. In the bullshit criminal prosecution of Don Lemon, Virginia Fort, and others in Minnesota, the presiding judge ordered the Trump DOJ to turn over to her for in camera review, all of the Government’s materials it used in its presentment of the two different indictments. And in New York, a judge ordered the unsealing of the documents in the civil lawsuit brought by the late Virginia Giuffre in 2015 against Ghislaine Maxwell for defamation. That includes the materials provided to the SDNY by Virginia’s lawyers for use in its grand jury presentation for the indictment against Jeffrey Epstein.
As I often say, there is a very real presumption of IRREGULARITY now when it comes to the Trump Department of (In)Justice and that is showing across the country.
