Being acknowledged - being seen years ago by Shannon was the leaping point of my new found love for writing.

@Shannon Van Den Burg saw me, at first I thought holy shit! I googled her at first to make sure this was real. Five years later I’m still following Shannon. Now I have been tutored by Shannon to become active and take my business to next level. Learning so mush from her community that I have become part of.

When you invest in yourself don’t think of it as being expensive. Think of it as a lovely way to be extravagant.

Writing is my muse to move along, when I am having heavy emotions, with the life that is currently in front of me. It’s my safe space to express those heavy emotions.

When you are growing your garden of hope taking the bad with the good is all we can do.

How we react or not react is the key to allow us to keep moving along.

Be proud of taking those leaps of faith. Writing your chapters, creating your publication, creating creative designs. You never know who is basking in your light.

Someone once told me that you are running for yourself, not for the acceptance from others. That truth stung. I do know now, finally, that this is the truth. If your light shines too bright for your circle so be it. They can look away or put their sunglasses on.
