I’m currently sitting 33,000 feet in the air with my 4 year old, 5 month old, husband, and mom, running off of 4 hours of sleep (iykyk the last min packing for 2 kids life) and somehowwww I’m here: writing this post.
Clearly I love it here (Substack I mean). And every day I’m so grateful for this platform giving me exactly what i felt like was always missing in my life.
I’ve been yapping for 6 years straight on my podcast so I’m not new to long form content. But… there’s a connection to writing that always scratches an itch for me in my brain, so thank you for being on the other side of that itch relief ;)
I promised you the realest of the real on my best manifestation practices. Things that actually work and things I actually do in my life that yields 10x results for the effort.
Because we here for max efficiency, am I right? 💅💅
There’s a practice I started doing a few years ago that I call the “scene method”.
It was born out of my motherhood journey and realizing that I simply cannot dedicate the same time I used to be able to give to all of my closed eye processes as I used to. Especially not while my 5 month old is constantly pulling my hair, grabbing food out of my mouth, and eating my chin.
After teaching my clients this method in some of our most recent sessions, I realized that it’s not just busy moms who can benefit from it.
Let’s be honest here…most people live busy lives and don’t have the time to do a whole 20-minute visualization every single day that they end up quitting by day 7 anyway. Then claim that visualization “doesn’t work” for them.
I want to solve the time problem for you. Because prematurely quitting your visualization practice because it’s too long to do leads to missing out on all of its proven benefits.
If you weren’t already aware of all the research that’s out there, visualization is arguably the brain’s most effective method of predicting the future since it doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s imagined.
The human brain activates the same exact neural pathways when physically doing an activity as it does just imagining doing that same activity. It also creates an actual memory in the brain for something that hasn’t yet actually happened in real life, which automatically updates your identity as the type of person for whom that kind of imagery already exists in real life.
I’m going to give you my go-to visualization practice that takes 30 seconds total of your time, that you can do while washing the dishes, brewing your morning coffee/matcha, yelling at your 4 year old to stop climbing the bathroom counter and peeing in the sink (oh, just me?) or brushing your teeth.
No music, no perfect visuals, no echoey hypnotic voice to listen to getting into the perfect theta wavelength, no need to lay perfectly still, and no need to rehearse an entire movie in your mind (though if you have the time, by all means do all the bells and whistles).
What’s pretty convenient is that the scene method can be used in times when you’re “emergency manifesting.” Because it’s so quick and easy to run through.
When you’re in a state of wanting something specific to happen, and trying to keep yourself in the right state of mind, but it’s literally all chaos in front of you, you can use the scene method to keep yourself connected to your desired outcome since it doesn’t take any special state of mind to get into it and it can be done eyes opened (even while having a conversation with someone)!
I know this because I believe the scene method is what saved my dog’s life when she was in the ICU awaiting life saving surgery 2 years ago. Or, at least, kept me holding the faith that my dog would make it and feed her that energy (since dogs feel and sense everything).
I’m obviously not claiming I have the power of God and can prevent literal death just by using visualization. On the spiritual level, I believe death is a choice the soul makes that can’t be manifested or unmanifested by someone else externally. BUT we do have the power to influence healing if the soul decides not to ultimately choose the exit point and stay put. I truly think the scene method allowed me to hold out the faith when faith felt virtually impossible to access otherwise.
Even through the fear. Even though the tears. Even through the excruciating phone call from the vet calling us and telling us “her blood pressure just dropped and we’re trying to do everything we can to get it up. It’s not looking too good you guys.”
I kept the faith the whole way and I give all the credit to the scene method.
Because what ended up happening just 6 days after that phone call was EXACTLY what I locked in on.
The EXACT scene I imagined and decided would happen.
And ever since then?
Every single scene I imagine happens.
Especially since I now have so much evidence that it works.
It sometimes feels like witchcraft at this point so I figured I’d write a dedicated article for this method so you can start using it ASAP in your life too.
Like I said before, I’ve been running all of my most recent clients through it and their feedback has consistently been “wow it feels so easy to connect to my manifestations now. I don’t have to work so hard or find the perfect time to visualize or even meditate anymore”
And the best part? It’s sooo easy to stay consistent with it. Because it’s short, simple, and sustainable.
So I know you’re asking this question: how do we do the scene method?
I’m giving you the entire step by step process.
Setting it up takes the longest time but you only have to do it once. And I’m talking literally 3-4 minutes per scene for set up which is still shorter than a 20-min visualization lol.
Once you have your scene set, the actual method of execution takes 30 seconds total.
Below the paywall, I’m handing you the entire scene method, step by step. The exact practice I run my highest level clients through & the one I trusted when my dog’s life was on the line. Here’s what’s waiting for you on the other side:
All 5 steps of the scene method telling you exactly how to execute this ridiculously simple practice (from choosing your manifestation to resting in its inevitability, & how to set up your first scene in the next 4 minutes)
The exact moment in your manifestation you should pull your scene from (get this wrong and you’re back to the 20-minute visualization process that you always quit)
The 4 elements every scene needs to actually rewire your identity, and which one matters most if you’re someone who swears you “can’t visualize”
My personal scene method schedule and the habit stacking hack that makes skipping it virtually impossible
The counterintuitive feeling that tells you the scene is fully normalized and about to show up in real life (aka the most exciting part)
The one sentence I repeat when reality starts showing me the complete opposite of my scene. Because believe me, the test WILL come! This is how you live the scene anyway ;)
