Hello First Draft Clubbers,
We are almost two months in! How’s it going? Still chipping away at your draft, or has summer derailed your progress?
Mine has been a month of two halves: A mix of busy work weeks with a packed schedule, and two blissful weeks away on writing retreat, where I went deep with my novel-in-progress and made up for all the writing time I’d missed – heavenly!
One thing remains true: the accountability of this club is making a big difference, simply because I have to show up and be honest about what I’ve done.
Whether you’ve been showing up consistently or not, now’s a great time to refocus before we hit September and those back-to-school vibes. Let’s get together and set ourselves up for a smooth September – imagine how brilliant you’ll feel knowing you’ve got your writing plans sorted for the month ahead.
Monday 24 August, 3pm-4pm UK time on Zoom
