What does God have for me?

Where’s my open door?

Why does every door feel like it’s slamming shut?

If you are unsure or a little nervous about the opportunities God has for you, remember that God doesn’t lead us on just one path our whole lives.

He often has us change directions, switch roads, and wind our way through many experiences.

Although our purpose is the same, the way we achieve it differs.

God created us with different talents and skills so we fit together as the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 explains how the body of Christ works.

We can’t all be ears, some have to be hands, and so on.

Every unique part is important, and we are arranged perfectly to form one body.

Don’t think that since you’ve been serving the Lord in one area, He can’t give you new opportunities and options.

Don’t be discouraged if God changes your direction and asks you to leave what feels familiar and comfortable.

Trust that He can use you in ways you might not have considered.

Maybe it’s exciting.

Maybe it’s scary.

It’s a privilege to serve Him!

When an opportunity ends, we need to be willing to search for what God has for us next.

Don’t think of it as an ending, it’s a new beginning.

There’s a lot of work to do. The Bible says the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. (Luke 10:2)

Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do,
do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NASB 1995)
