Hello from my writing desk! I hope your summer was full of long, lazy days in the sunshine, with plenty of good reads as you dozed on the beach. It’s now officially autumn, my favorite time of year, and when I’m usually feeling the most inspired.
I know we book lovers are mostly the same… There is something very satisfying about cuddling up under a blanket and cracking open a new read as the nights get darker. A roaring fire, a pumpkin spice candle, the light patter of rain against the windows… so dreamy 🫶🏻
I’ve been thinking a lot about some of my back titles and how well paired they are with this time of year. I’ve also been reading in publishing news that short stories and novellas are having a resurgence, so it felt like the perfect time to share some of my shorter works for these crisp autumn nights. Many of these books can be read in one sitting - they are spooky, full of fall vibes, and all come with a good dose of spice.
