How to Dress Like a (Chic) Dominatrix

I Want Your Sex, the movie I co-wrote with director Gregg Araki, is cumming to theaters tomorrow! It’s a perverted love story about a Dom/sub relationship between a provocative artist (Olivia Wilde) and her wide-eyed, much younger assistant (Cooper Hoffman). The film is based on a personal experience from my 20s, when I was in a BDSM situationship with my terrifyingly charming, much older boss. In I Want Your Sex, costume designer Arianne Phillips transformed Olivia Wilde into a gleeful deranged Dominatrix, decked out in a colorful array of latex, leather, harnesses, even dildos worn as accessories. And honestly? It’s inspired me to invest in a lot more fetish fashion. I currently own only a single black latex dress, which I once wore to a premier at Cannes. (Why not? It turns out, latex works most anywhere!)
