This week we have the delicious sounding aspect of Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer .
It sounds like a velvet coconut cappuccino with cinnamon doesn’t it? All ladylike and luxurious in a deep bowl cup and chocolate coated marshmallows .
How is it landing? Is that true for you?
My somatic sense is that there are definitely opportunities for relaxation and celebration in the field, causing me to indulge in a cloud of internal bliss and perfection a fair few times in the last few days.
Jupiter’s energy can also be “over hyped”. This is the archetype devoted to expansion, knowledge and blessings. For people born in the daytime, traditional astrologers say Jupiter is the most benefic planet in the chart and for those of us born at night, he’s still a good guy but we’re on the Venus team ( and Venus is the other player in this match so we’re winning either way ).
There can be a feeling of ‘coming down’ that I have also come to associate with Jupiter excesses. Too much of a good thing can stir things up even if it’s just too much oceanic bliss. I can locate a formless ambient melancholy in my heart centre that is not attached to any particular cause.
I have created a bluesy audio experience for you to tease out this theme. If you enjoy your Astrology with groove this one’s for you and it’s free to listen in full at the top of the page.
Thank you for being here.
