As you know by now, my mission is to get people to connect the dots between what our schools thrust on this nation in their deeply secreted, corrupt state and democracy’s unraveling, because we must know what broke democracy to fix it.
The corrupt world of education molded way too many people who’d think Trump was a good idea for president, as self-serving administrators no longer prioritized educating our people. The most significant piece of critical thinking teaching that went missing is measured thinking, which schools used to teach before fascist-like administrators turned our school into their treasure chests about four decades ago.
When I read a response to a reporter’s article about our disappointing Congress, which criticized the reporter for not featuring the good things Trump and his MAGA soldiers have done, the lack of clarity in that criticism brought me back to the classroom when I used to help my ten-year-old students think sensibly.
This reader wanted a happy medium when discussing what’s going on in our government. The reporter responded politely, thanking the reader for his “insight.” See if you agree with my thoughts about a happy medium as we deal with Trump, and please share your thoughts.
Hitler did do some good things, too. When the balance falls deeply into evil, anyone with integrity stops praising the good things to stop the bad things. It can’t be any other way unless one is okay with evil. There is no happy medium when evil is part of the equation. Where there is evil, it’s like mold or poison. The whole must be tossed.
When you inflict evil on society, you need to be stopped, whether you do it like John Gacy, Charles Manson, Hitler, or Trump. Rather than label wanting a happy medium as “insight,” I’d label it hollow thinking that has taken over society because no one will listen to the whistleblowing teachers at WhiteChalkCrime.com and EndTeacherAbuse.org crying out about how shallow and corrupt our schools are.
The world of education is entrenched with corruption that no leaders or reporters have addressed and that our unions have covered up, overcome with the same fear that keeps most teachers silent. Thus, we have citizens who have not learned about evil. How could evil schools teach avoidance of evil?
The fact that BOTH parties did nothing about education is how democracy fell apart. Our way back is to listen to the people whose prestige is as far from celebrities as it gets—our teacher whistleblowers. Can we? Or do we need more Trump derangement inflicting our lives to grow as a society?
What I said on another site kind of answers my own question.
When times get crazy, I like to look at things spiritually. It feels like a higher power is teaching us a lesson through Trump—time to stop worshipping celebrities and start appreciating people who care about others. Otherwise, on a spiritual level, why else does he exist?
Perhaps once we learn that lesson, he’ll be gone.
I don’t know when we’ll learn. I do know most people don’t want to know the truth about our hollowed-out schools.
I do understand why so many people disrespect our teachers and their unions, who, out of fear, are puppets for some mighty self-serving administrators. I do understand why so many people disrespect both political parties for not doing something about this. However, I do know a nation that doesn’t respect its teachers has lost its soul.
So I keep trying to educate the public about what’s really going on in our schools, why it’s so confusing, why it’s so hard to believe, and why so few people know, so we can get this nation’s soul back.

Someone must read it if you submit it for an award. I submitted it knowing it’s the book no one wants to read ever, and particularly now with all the chaos, but everyone who cares about democracy needs to read it. The awards proved me right.
We are where we are because we are a nation that has turned its back on the called-to-teach teachers who once helped our children make sense of life.
