The Woodstock of investing:

Berkshire’s 2024 annual meeting was held yesterday. It was the first one with Warren and Greg Abel, and Warren made some interesting comments on AI scamming, and Berkshire’s capital allocation decision which will be made by Greg when he takes over from Warren as CEO.

• Berkshire Energy, is one of they key pillars of Berkshire. However, their annual report seems to fly under the radar, and not get as much attention as one might expect. I started reading it a couple of years ago, and with the recent comments on relocating capital allocation away from Berkshire energy due to demising returns (impact from wildfires), it’s an even more appealing read for understanding market dynamics and the importance of disciplined capital allocation.
