Hi all! I just wanted to inform you about my upcoming Intro to Machine Embroidery workshop, happening this Saturday, March 8th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at Biolab Lisboa.
In this workshop participants will learn the core principles, materials and techniques of machine embroidery and follow demonstrations performed on a Brother Innov-is NV2600 machine. Participants will then apply these skills and embroider textiles using downloaded embroidery designs.
The best part? Attending this workshop will give you free access to the machine on Biolab’s open days. Come learn about machine embroidery and discover a versatile technology for design, art, and fashion, among many other possibilities.

I will also be running a more advanced Digitizing for Embroidery workshop at Biolab Lisboa later this month (date to be announced in my next newsletter) where you will learn how to create designs for embroidery. I highly recommend taking this introductory workshop if you are interested in doing the more advanced workshop, as we will cover fundamental principles of machine embroidery that are important to understand when designing for embroidery.
