GENEVA, 10 June 2026 – Justice Rapid Response (JRR) concluded a new agreement with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to strengthen its collaboration with the UN entity and bolster its impact.

The Executive Board of Justice Rapid Response (JRR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gerald Staberock as its next Executive Director. He will succeed Mr. Samuel Emonet as of September 1st, 2026.

Early March, Justice Rapid Response had the pleasure of hosting with UN Women and the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom to the United Nations in New York a launch event of our new Guidance and Practice Tool on Intersectionality in Investigations of Serious Human Rights Violations and International Crimes on the sidelines of the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
