With Faith and Your Support

Hi Friends:

As you may have heard, I am running for Guelph City Council in Ward 5.

My commitment to residents is straightforward: to work hard, communicate openly, and ensure that the voices of our community are heard. I want to help build a more affordable, vibrant, and prosperous Guelph for families, seniors, students, and local businesses alike. You can learn more at www.gregcawsey.ca​

​As the photo shows, I’m occasionally willing to step outside my comfort zone. Running for City Council is another one of those moments. The difference is that when my son and I leaned over the edge, I knew there was a harness supporting us. In this campaign, the support comes from friends, neighbours, volunteers, and people who believe we can make Guelph even better. I’m hoping you’ll consider being one of them.

Here are a few ways you can go to gregcawsey.ca and help out:

• Share your endorsement. Many of you have written some very nice things on social media - I was very humbled and grateful. If you would be willing to do that again on the website it would mean a lot! This is a great way for those of you outside of Guelph to still help out.

• Reserve a lawn sign. Please give your Ward #5 address on the website and I will deliver your sign on August 21st to help increase visibility throughout Ward.

• Volunteer your time - let us know if you can help with door-to-door outreach, delivering campaign materials, or reminding people to get out and vote. I will be back in the classroom in September, so I would really appreciate some help with deliveries during that month. Again, please reply or go to the website and let me know if you can help out.

• Make a financial contribution if you are able. Every donation helps connect with more residents and build a stronger campaign.   • Donors must live in the Province of Ontario. So please provide your address when you click to donate at gregcawsey.ca

  • All donations over $100 must be reported on the candidate’s financial statement at the conclusion of the election

• Finally - spread the word. If you have friends, family, and neighbours in Ward 5 please share that I am running and that I look forward to knocking on their door soon!

As with that experience high above the city, I know I can’t do this alone. Your encouragement, support, and involvement will make all the difference.
