juliette crane · Living The Way Of The Happy Painter, By Juliette Crane

Hello, I’m Juliette, a full-time painter, writer, and creative educator. Welcome to Living the Way of the Happy Painter—a heart-centered space where I share essays about art, life, and living with intention. This is my ever-evolving journal of creativity and connection—and I’m so glad you’re here.

Every painting I create begins with many colorful layers. This part of the process feels playful and exhilarating, where I can set my intentions and experiment.

It often takes trying again and again to reach the moment where I can finally let go and allow the painting to come together.

I’m usually working on many paintings at once, all at different stages. So when I feel stuck on one piece, I’ll often return to those colorful layers to loosen up and paint more freely again. It all helps me stay in the flow.

Happy Dance, 18x24” (SOLD)
Heart And Moonlight. 30x30” Available.

I invite your to step into this dreamy, magical world and let the beauty speak to you.

And if you’re looking for even more magic, I’m teaching an Art Retreat in Italy in May 2027! There are a few spots left, and it’s going to be such a soul-filling experience. I would absolutely love to have you join me!

P.S. New collections of my owls and female figures are also now available through Adelman Fine Art and Studio E Gallery.

P.P.S. My process is all about returning to the joy of painting—letting yourself play with color, trust your creative voice, and explore your own style. It’s not about getting it “right”—it’s about finding your rhythm and strengthening your creativity. If you’d like to see more of what I teach, you can explore my painting courses and free resources here.
