Many of you already know this, but if you’re new here, I work part time at Long Season Farm, a small vegetable farm in Kerhonkson, NY. I’m the proud Head of Tidying!
Writing the chalkboard signs for the markets every weekend is one of my favorite tasks I do every week. These signs include two price signs and a “suggestion” sign where I put a recipe, ideas for various ways to enjoy a vegetable, or sometimes a list of meal ideas.
If you’re in the Hudson Valley, you can get LSF’s perfect vegetables in Kingston on Saturdays and in Beacon on Sundays — tell them I sent you!! 😉
Instead of a normal lunch recipe today, I thought it’d be fun to share some of my recent springtime / early summer market chalkboard signs since they’re full of helpful ideas and lots of recipes, too. I’ll try and remember to share more as the summer continues!!
Here you go!
