For my song “Popsicle” (from my last album “Lightning Might Strike”) I shot a bunch of footage of myself including a few handfuls of this scene and setup in front of the pile of trimmed tree trunks. The phone was on little stand on a stool, recording and also playing the song so I could air-guitar (well, I was actually playing it [but unplugged]). A bit of this particular clip was used but I wanted to share the whole uncut scene (not that it is anything particularly fascinating or revelatory). Paige Applin in Austin, Texas took everything I shot and she picked and chose certain bits and added some of her own stuff and colorized the different popsicles in a few scenes and edited and made it all into what I think is a perfect illustration of the mood of the song.
