FULL MOON OF SAGITTARIUS/GEMINI - MAY 31, 2026

URANUS, the archetype of awakening, represents the highest power of the mind, the human capacity for individuation, the rebel, the revolutionary, the innovator, the miraculous, the unexpected, the shattering, moved into Gemini on April 26th amplifying Pluto in Aquarius, this new age/era of transformative, radical change moving humanity into a world of individuals living chosen lives in a society/world that respects and celebrates ALL. Uranus and Aquarius both now in air signs (intelligence, the expansion of the human mind to the intuitive and universal mind) are the companions of this New Era awakening the highest visions for a humane world serving the PEOPLE.

This is the people’s century! This is the people’s moon. On May 31st the Sun will be at 9 degrees of Gemini conjunct Uranus in Gemini opposite the Moon at 9 degrees of Sagittarius with the Sun and Uranus sextile Saturn/Neptune, the Moon trines Saturn/Neptune, both the Sun and Moon square the Moon’s Nodes. This is a radical shift, a turning point, a wake-up call, a breakthrough, a break glass moment. Why is this Full Moon so powerful? This is the first Full Moon with the Sun in Gemini when Uranus is also in Gemini since the 1940’s when the United States was becoming the world’s premier superpower/wealthiest country with the most powerful currency in the world. It was then “the American Century”.

Now that role is fading as China rises and the U.S. debt grows exponentially, as the U.S. disregards its allies, is mired in a Middle East war, is destroying its leading role in research and global health, rejecting the best and brightest immigrants coming to America eager to invent and build businesses in the US, is significantly divided over politics/policy/the meaning of the Constitution itself. The old order is over. The squares to the Moon’s Nodes telegraph an end to the old order and the beginning of a more inclusive world order. The trines and sextiles signal both the readiness and the awareness awakening to envision what is possible and necessary.

Our individual and personal old order is also over. Our current personal thinking (Gemini) and our beliefs (Sagittarius) are ready for an upgrade to take full advantage of the immense new possibilities already available and those which will soon be available. Which thoughts and beliefs, even the unconscious ones, limit your highest potential? Time for change. Time to ask the deepest questions, to inquire and wonder about any misalignment between our conscious and unconscious thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

Gemini is the sign of our siblings/aunts/uncles/neighbors while Sagittarius extends our neighborhood to the world in a world in which we all matter. Despite the old patterns of violence and war, throughout the world the people are speaking up, showing up, rising up, saying NO to these harmful choices. The people are demanding their governments put their needs first, take care of them, use their national financial and physical resources to support individuals, families and communities. Individuals, families and communities are taking local actions, making local demands, changing politicians and governments when their needs are ignored. This Full Moon is shining its bright light on an emerging world focused on/built on caring for the people first. Sagittarius faith and vision is illuminating the Gemini intelligence and initiative to speak a new and better world into being.
