LEGO Serious Play facilitator Sean Blair tried something new - and generated a whole bunch of new insights.
He explained: “The group has built a shared system model, built connections, examined how the system behaves, and now they’re identifying the places in the system where a small change might produce a disproportionately large result. Each ‘candidate’ leverage point gets a flag that describes an action or intervention. The group places their flags.
“At this particular session, I asked the group to do something slightly different. I asked them to physically animate one. Pick a flag, place your hand on it, and move it…”

Clean Language questions can help clinicians have effective conversations with patients about death and dying. That’s the headline from a case study I put together with three clinical colleagues from the Clean in Healthcare movement.
