Keeping up morale

Hi, friends.

Thank you so much for your kind messages last week, congratulating me and my (private individual who is a competent cook!) husband on our pregnancy. It brought a smile to my face to read through the comments. Desire for privacy aside, t’s been a little hard to keep the secret as this secret has grown in my body and our lives. It’s nice to be able to share in the excitement with you all.

It’s been such a busy summer, that I haven’t done my usual Saturday missives as regularly as I like to. So this week, I thought I’d share what I’ve been up to over the past months, and particularly how I’ve been keeping up morale in this hot, hot summer. I will not lie: I feel that I and the other women who have endured this hot, hot summer pregnant will deserve a medal by the end of it. If you’re reading this pregnant: I salute you! We’re in this together! We’ll make it…I think!
