The first step isn’t action. It’s simply acceptance. Acceptance that this—this strange, painful, uncertain place—is where you are right now. Don’t resist it. Don’t try to fix it. Don’t stuff it down and pretend it’s not there.
Instead, feel what you're feeling about it.
