Darlings, I genuinely cannot believe I’m even lucky enough to be writing this…

I’m currently somewhere in that “is this real life or have I accidentally wandered into a postcard?” state of mind, because I’ve finally visited Nantucket!! - PINCH ME!!! And it’s more magical than I ever imagined.

Long before TSITP ever made its way onto our screens, I had this quiet little obsession with Nantucket. That New England, American summer that we have seen in films and our Pintrest boards, it’s been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember.

You can see my Nantucket Pintrest board here

And while I already know that I’ll be coming back for a second visit (Nantucket officially has my heart), I wanted to round up a few of my absolute highlights in case any of you are planning your own little escape here…

Possibly one of the most iconic and dreamiest coastal paths, this narrow track winds behind some of the island’s most incredible homes, with gardens on one side and ocean views on the other; honestly, I think I said ‘this is my future house’ every few seconds!

Also, if you’re like me and just adore hydrangeas, this spot is renowned for them!

In my opinion, the best way to experience Nantucket is to just walk around or hire a bike. Think magical cobbled streets that feel as though they’ve been lifted straight from a Disney film, lined with fairytale-like boutiques, cosy cafes and charming grey-shingled buildings.

Nantucket shopping has that classic, old-school beachy feel! Of course I had to make sure I had space in my suitcase but I just couldn't resist a few Nantucket branded souvenirs.

Some of my favourite spots:

One thing I was looking forward to in Nantucket was the food! Now I’m not the biggest lover of seafood but I had to try their iconic lobster rolls whilst enjoying a glass of wine and soaking in the harbour views. And of course, the viral Fluffy Seagull drink from The Lighthouse Keepers Pantry! The queues were crazy but it was essential I tried one!

Some of my favourite food spots:

A local told me this is the best sunset spot on the island; and I honestly it was just magical!

Make sure you bring a blanket and sit in the dunes and watch the sun set.

And if you’re anything like me, you’ll probably be half-expecting a The Summer I Turned Pretty beach party to suddenly appear out of nowhere.

One of the most photographed spots on Nantucket. It’s one of the first things many visitors see when arriving by ferry and the last thing they see when leaving. Truly magical and iconic, it’s an absolute must.

One of the most prestigious and quintessential events in the British social calendar, it’s the start of Wimbledon.

Whilst there’s nothing quite like spending the day courtside, watching world-class tennis with a bowl of strawberries in one hand and a glass of Pimm’s in the other, for me it’s always the fashion that steals the show. There’s something so effortlessly elegant about Wimbledon style; timeless, understated and wonderfully British.

This year, I’m leaning into that classic aesthetic with a beautiful white dress, woven straw accessories and a tan leather bag. Simple, chic and perennial pieces I’ll reach for summer after summer.
