Something you begin around the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026 may take two years to reveal what it is worth. The eclipse forms at 20°02′ Leo, opening a story around visibility, authorship, creative authority and the part of your life that can no longer remain provisional. On 24 September 2028, during the exact Jupiter–Pluto trine, Venus will reach 20°37′ Leo and stand almost exactly where the Sun and Moon disappeared together.

This is an unusually precise repetition. The eclipse introduces a beginning in the sign governed by the Sun, while Venus later returns to the same degree during one of the most consequential growth aspects of the decade. Something may first appear as an idea, invitation, public response or decision to stop hiding a particular ability. By 2028, the same story may return through money, collaboration, patronage, better terms or an audience prepared to sustain what you have created.

The eclipse shows where the light first appears. What happens next depends upon whether your life can carry it.

Leo concerns the authority to distinguish, direct and bring something into public existence. Wherever Leo falls in your chart, you are eventually required to trust your judgment enough to accept responsibility for what you create, represent or lead. This is where private potential must acquire a recognisable form.

A solar eclipse complicates that process because the Moon crosses the face of the Sun. Memory, instinct and private need move across the public light, exposing the emotional history beneath the identity. You may receive greater attention while still feeling uncertain about the person required to inhabit it. Other people can begin recognising an ability that you continue treating as incidental, unfinished or too personal to carry public consequence.

The eclipse may arrive through an obvious event. A piece of work receives an unusual response, a role opens unexpectedly or a relationship introduces a different creative or professional future. It can also begin through an internal threshold: you realise that remaining hidden in one area now requires more effort than developing what has been suppressed.

Look to the Leo house in your chart for the area where this pressure begins. Something there may require clearer authorship, stronger leadership or a more accurate public identity. You might need to name a service, publish representative work or claim responsibility that already belongs to you in practice. The beginning can remain modest, though it should be accurate enough to represent the future you are trying to enter.

Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Earth’s Creation I, 1994, Australia.

The relationship between the eclipse and the Jupiter–Pluto trine rests upon three precise contacts. At the eclipse, the Sun and Moon meet at 20°02′ Leo while Venus occupies 5°54′ Libra. In September 2028, Venus reaches 20°37′ Leo and Jupiter reaches 6°33′ Libra as it forms an exact trine with Pluto at 6°33′ Aquarius.

Venus therefore returns to the eclipse degree within thirty-five minutes. Jupiter simultaneously crosses the place occupied by Venus in the eclipse chart. Pluto remains in Aquarius and receives Jupiter’s exact trine, completing a pattern that was already developing when the eclipse occurred.

The eclipse chart contains Venus in Libra in close relationship with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius. Venus describes value, agreement and the conditions through which people choose to participate. Uranus brings new methods of communication, distribution and technology, while Pluto concerns larger networks and systems capable of changing the scale at which something operates.

When Jupiter reaches the eclipse Venus in 2028, it enlarges this route. A personal decision to become more visible may then encounter the audience, collaborator, client base or institution through which it can travel further. The later transit expands what has been developed and gives consequence to the agreements surrounding it.

This eclipse belongs to the longer argument I have been developing throughout The Treasury. In Jupiter in Leo Begins the Five-Year Story of Your Visibility, I described the present cycle as the opening of a movement through creativity, recognition, authority and the work that may eventually carry your name. The central question was never simply whether you would receive more attention. It concerned what that attention would demand from the structure of your life.

Who Will Own Your Future? carried the same argument into ownership. Increased visibility can create opportunity while enlarging the distance between what you produce and what you are permitted to retain. The eclipse now brings those questions together: what deserves to become visible, and who will control the value produced when it does?

That continuity matters because the August eclipse is one stage inside a larger trajectory. What you recognise now may need years of development before its economic, relational or professional importance becomes obvious. The 2028 chart shows why the decisions made around ownership, standards and partnership during the intervening period may eventually matter as much as the original moment of recognition.

Amrita Sher-Gil, The Story Teller, 1937

Venus governs romance and attraction, though her jurisdiction extends into every arrangement through which value is recognised and preserved. She concerns price, standards, pleasure, patronage, trust and the terms that make continued participation desirable. Venus describes whether an offering satisfies something real and whether the exchange leaves enough value on both sides to continue.

This is one reason I think of Venus as the planet of billionaires. Great wealth requires more than control over resources. It also depends upon an understanding of preference, trust, social access and the agreements through which value can circulate at scale. Someone must know what people desire, maintain a standard they are willing to return to and build relationships that carry the offering beyond its original setting.

When Venus reaches 20° Leo in 2028, she revisits whatever the eclipse first illuminated. A private ability may have developed into a professional service. Creative work could become intellectual property, while an early audience response grows into a dependable community or customer base. A public identity may finally acquire the pricing, presentation or contractual structure that allows other people to support it properly.

The same symbolism may arrive through another person. A client, agent, publisher, patron or collaborator could understand how to participate in the future that first became visible in 2026. Their involvement may bring access, expertise or distribution, although the quality of the agreement will determine whether the opportunity strengthens your position.

During the 2028 trine, the Sun will be in Libra while Venus occupies Leo. Each planet will stand in the other’s sign, linking solar visibility with Venusian value. The work carrying your name must have become coherent enough to attract support, and that support must increase its reach without dissolving its authorship.

Georges Seurat, A Sunday on La Grande Jatte, 1884–86, France.

Jupiter will form the trine from Libra, placing its expansion under Venus’s rulership. Pluto will be in Aquarius, traditionally ruled by Saturn, while Saturn occupies Taurus, another Venus-ruled sign. Both ends of the Jupiter–Pluto trine therefore return to Venus while she stands on the eclipse degree.

This gives Venus unusual authority over the later opportunity. What begins in 2026 must acquire value that other people can recognise, while the surrounding agreements must protect the conditions allowing that value to continue. Increased demand can become income, influence or a more durable professional position when the work has developed a clear standard and the person creating it has retained meaningful control.

The two-year preparation may involve improving your craft, refining an offer or learning how to negotiate without surrendering the work’s future. You may need independent access to your audience, stronger ownership protections or a more deliberate selection of clients and collaborators. Venus rewards discernment because the right relationship can increase the scale of what you are building, while the wrong one can consume its value before it matures.

The later opportunity may therefore emerge through greater precision. You become clearer about whom you serve, which standards you protect and what another person must contribute before receiving access. The eclipse begins the visibility story, but visibility alone cannot tell you which decisions will allow the story to survive.

Giorgio de Chirico, The Enigma of a Day, 1914, Italy.

The sky pattern establishes that the 2026 eclipse and the 2028 Jupiter–Pluto trine belong to the same sequence. It cannot tell you which part of your life is being asked to become visible, where decisive action is required during the next few weeks or what kind of structure will allow the later opportunity to be retained. It also cannot show you where support is likely to enter your chart, or which mistake could turn recognition into overwork, lost ownership or dependence upon somebody else’s platform.

Those answers change with your rising sign.

Below the paywall, I read Leo as the area where the eclipse begins the visibility story and where Venus returns in 2028. Aries shows where you must act before certainty arrives, because this is where the Sun’s authority becomes decisive. Libra reveals the area through which Jupiter may bring partnership, agreement or material support, while Aquariusshows where Pluto can increase scale through networks, institutions and collective power.

Each rising sign receives a two-year construction plan. You will see what is trying to become visible now, which action will position you during the coming weeks and what practical container must be built before Venus returns to the eclipse degree. I will also show you the arrangement most likely to waste the opportunity, so that greater visibility becomes durable authority rather than exposure.
