I have to play ball...and not the fun kind.

Here’s what’s really weighing on my mind a few hours from our mid-month fundraising deadline.

For starters, we just found out Elon Musk will spend $120 million in key Senate battlegrounds to buy the majority for Republicans.

(That’s on top of MAGA’s $50 million “Defeat Josh” war chest.)

As a result, we had to make an emergency adjustment to our fundraising target for August.

Frankly, I wish it didn’t have to be this way. I hate that our elections have been hijacked by corporate and ultra-rich greed. When I’m a senator, I intend to change that.

But I can’t fix the system as an outsider. I have to play ball (and not the fun kind) to win.

My campaign has a strict policy against taking corporate PAC money, so only grassroots supporters like yourself can propel us over the finish line.

That’s a heavy burden to put on your shoulders, I know.

But the other option is compromising on my principles, so I’m asking you to spot me before midnight.

In the heavyweight race that could decide control of the Senate and the future of this country, will you chip in any amount right away?
