I don’t have any groundbreaking news today. I just want to say I’ve been having an absolute blast at the Iowa State Fair.

Nothing beats warm weather, good conversation, and classic State Fair cuisine (I’m looking at you, pork chop on a stick).

And in between rolling from tailgates to the pit to the grandstand and watching racing at the Iowa Corn 350, I’ve had great conversations with voters lately that could make a real difference in November.   

I won my first race by, no exaggeration, six votes. That experience taught me that you never know which door, phone call, or casual chat might tip the balance. We’re leaving no stone unturned in this fight.
