Cartoon One Three Two Seven

Two friends in a coffee shop. One friend, about to read the other’s manuscript, says: “I get triggered by trigger-warnings, so let me know upfront if there’s going to be any. of those.”

Might be a little late in the game to make trigger-warning jokes.

Here’s The Drink Savant with a one three two four:

Yesterday, we saw Edd Turner’s very colorful take on the same cartoon. The Savant went exactly the opposite direction — and I love it! If I ever collect a book of all the cartoons you fine people have submitted, I want to publish these two comics on facing pages. They’re both brilliant, they both tell the joke cleanly and well, but they couldn’t look more different. This is wonderful, TDS. The white on black gives it a bleak, hilarious precision. Thank you!
