Happy Fourth of July. I hope you are spending the weekend with people you love, whether that is at a cookout, at a parade, or somewhere with good air conditioning.
Before the fireworks start tonight, I want to share something with you.
We learned this week that our public grant will arrive next week instead of this one. That delay gave us an idea. Our first ad will not hit the airwaves for another week and a half, so we decided that the people who read these emails, the people who built this campaign, should see the ad before anyone else in Connecticut does.

This ad exists because thousands of people across our state decided that a billionaire should not get to buy a third term without a fight. When it starts running statewide, that will be your work on television.

One more thing before I let you go. Stay safe this weekend, stay hydrated, and use plenty of sun lotion. That last one is a mea culpa, because I need to be better about it myself.
