Just a quick note.
I’m starting something super cool from this week.
The classes will happen x2 a week for 60min live on zoom and recorded.
To kick things off I will be doing x3 classes for this week + a shorter Live for the Jooba Weekly release.
The live classes will be available for all members during this week.
From next week the classes and recordings will be for premium members only.
I’ve updated the perks and price of a premium membership. The new price for premium will be $50 per month which will give you access to all classes and recordings.
The Jooba Weekly will remain free for everyone. I had such a great time creating last week’s issue and looking forward to the coming weeks. 🥳
Class times are chosen based on my what might work for the majority of timezones represented by the community.
Classes will be in the afternoons for Europe/Africa Timezone and then in the mornings for North/South America.
All classes will be recorded and members can ask any questions before the classes for me to answer in the class.
Each class will be focused on a specific topic and have a dedicated Q and A session.
🌳 Wednesday - Creating Indie Chords
This class will focus on the process of coming up with good chord to use for indie folk guitar music. We will explore options such as voice leading, inversions, and minimalism. Looking forward to this one.
🌱 Thursday - Mix Strumming + Picking
Learn to start mixing your strumming patterns with some fingerpicking. A very popular technique with singer songwriters. Let's go! Thanks for the votes to show interest in this one.
🌲 Friday - Fretboard Navigation Exercises
Here we will learn a couple of helpful exercises to get you out of the comfortable zones on the guitar fretboard. If you would like to freely play a chord progression in multiple places then this class is for you.
