a few of my recent he(art) work

i have a hard drive of some of these amazing things i’ve never heard before. I take them and frame them. From books, to movies, to in-person convos, to substack essays, etc.

Here’s a few of them:

any way, seems like she got out because how else would she have written this ever-green line?

one of the best things college gifted me was the gift of this handsome gentle man SeekingTheSeeker:

although far from gentle in his thoughts because of how loud they are and how profound they can be. And i like being in company of such radical thinkers.

probably not the type of friend to keep if you want to make healthy money decisions because that quote was born out of moment when i was headed to work in a rush as he stood outside the entrance of the apartment with coffee/cigarette in hand, having called in sick (lied obviously) and hit me with that quote.

probably going to punch me when he reads this but just like Jamie McGuire i’ll survive this devil.

netflix and chill just took a hit because tell me why i never thought about intimacy the way:

you mean, i no longer have to take off my clothes and sprinkle innocent flowers on the floor just to be intimate?

but for real though christopher sexton is on something. It has nutin to do with skin to skin but has everything to do with being comfortable in our skin and our truth.

And maybe…….Just maybe for once admit that “i’m fine” isn’t “fine”?

i know you’ve heard about air benders, water benders and fire benders, but i raise you a mind bender like Rachel Leeke Alexis.

she says some of the most mind bending things you’ll ever read. No surprise that particular essay is one of her best ones yet.

so, if you think you’ve not been doing cardio all your life—think again!
