AUTHOR-TURNED-INDIE-PUBLISHER’S NOTES: If there’s one thing I keep learning, it’s that I never get to stop learning new things! For example:

For some reason, global trade wars and bombing Iran haven’t helped bring down costs for the average American!
Just some fun facts to keep in mind, as I tell you the following thing…
As of today, the special signed-and-numbered hardcover limited edition of The Change is gonna be a couple days late. I’M SO SORRY! It’s at the manufacturers. It’s been proofed and approved. It looks gorgeous. They are ready to roll.
The only hitch is, I haven’t yet SOLD ENOUGH HARDCOVER COPIES to pay the printer. And though they advertised a means by which I could break up the payments, I evidently didn’t qualify. (I doofily assumed that having done solid business with them over the past year would count. It doesn’t.)
To be clear, there’s no issue vis-a-vis the paperbacks. That money’s covered by sales. They’ll be out on September 11th. (No completely unfunny nonexistent pun intended!)
And, I mean, it’s not like I don’t have wonderful friends who might spot me if they have to (I HOPE!) But before I go annoying my near and dear, I figured I’d go straight to all the people who KNOW they want to read this book, and were planning to buy it. Because NOW WOULD BE THE PERFECT TIME!!!
As it stands, I need 21 MORE HARDCOVER SALES to make my minimum! Or, like, 55 MORE PAPERBACKS! (Or a whole bunch of paid subscriptions, so you can read it here online, cuz that would also help!)
I’ve also still got both paper and hardcover on good ol’ This Is Splatterpunk on hand, already printed and awaiting your love! (Did I mention that This Is Splatterpunk is a love-based organism? JUST LIKE US!)

If I haven’t made those sales by Monday, I’ll be out bugging my long-suffering friends, because there’s NO FUCKING WAY I’m gonna let this slide past that paperback debut date. But I really don’t wanna, unless there’s no other way.
