Solitary photographer in perpetual search of isolation during my travels, I have explored worlds that, although different, share a common point: solitude. It is in these moments of introspection, silent contemplation, and sometimes even forced isolation during which I immersed myself completely in the essence of my subjects that the images of SOLITUDES took shape.
However, this exhibition goes beyond the exploration of my own solitude. It explores the many facets of isolation in our world and how it manifests differently for each of us. The theme of solitude, sometimes imposed, sometimes sought after, weaves an invisible thread that connects these images. Through my lens, I have found solitude in endless deserts, in the eyes of strangers I have encountered, and even within the wild fauna, lost in its own realm.
Through these photographs that may reflect some of my own emotions, I invite you to get lost in these moments of solitude frozen in time, to explore inner and outer landscapes, and to find your own connection with the Solitudes that surround us. But also to contemplate solitude as an essential element of our existence.
It can be a burden or a blessing, a choice or a constraint, but it is always present and has the power to reveal our true essence.
This photographic retrospective, the result of ten years of visual exploration around the globe, invites you on an intimate journey through 30 unique works.
