On Sunday morning I will publish the music video for the song Force Feed The Fire from my album Sunny, I Was Wrong.
In the Fall I took a multi day bikepacking trip on Vancouver Island, BC. I was accompanied by my good friend the renowned adventure cyclist and aspiring filmmaker Theo Kelsey-Verdecchia. (Check out his Instagram account for some of the truly mad self-supported cycling routes and races he’s completed. It’s kind of nuts. Thank God I’m too old for that level of insanity of I probably would have never chosen music.)
We rode a chunk of the Tree To Sea Loop.

Anyway, I lugged in a bunch of recording gear and recorded a bunch of songs for the bears and elk. In retrospect, that was also a bit nuts, but I wanted to do it while my body could still pull it off.
In addition to the field recordings, Theo shot a bunch of video of me suffering and recovering from suffering. He took some of that footage and assembled an additional music video for the studio version of Force Feed The Fire. I’ve included a clip here.
