I hope that you’ll be able to join us today, Thursday August 20th, at 3:00pm EDT for a special Briefing Book Substack Live conversation about American Foreign Policy with renowned author, strategist, and veteran Asha Castleberry-Hernandez.
To join, please RSVP at this link or click on the picture below.
The timing for this conversation couldn’t be better. With the war in Iran raging, diplomatic confusion on both Russia and North Korea, and the upcoming midterms that will be directly impacted by the links between affordability and foreign policy, we’re fortunate to have a thinker like Asha joining us to explain it all!
For background, Asha was a Senior Executive in the Biden-Harris Administration on Middle East policy and previously held senior military and diplomatic roles with U.S. Central Command, Combined Joint Task Force–Operation Inherent Resolve, and the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. She has deployed and served in Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan. A prominent media commentator, today she focuses on the future of American grand strategy, national security, economic security, and geopolitical competition, including chairing a Grand Strategy/National Security Strategy Working Group for National Security Leaders for America. She is also a Senior Fellow at Diplomatic Courier, a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member, an academic professor, and the author of Why National Security Matters: A Memoir.
Again, please join at this link or click on the picture below. And please feel free to become a paid subscriber to The Briefing Book so we can continue to grow our work.
