A prominent media commentator, today she focuses on the future of American grand strategy, national security, economic security, and geopolitical competition, including chairing a Grand Strategy/National Security Strategy Working Group for National Security Leaders for America. She is also a Senior Fellow at Diplomatic Courier, a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member, an academic professor, and the author of Why National Security Matters: A Memoir.
