i took it to the limit after getting home from lollapalooza, i figured why not go to the local festival with almost all of the same bands. i love music, but how much is too much really? on a regular day i love to be in the park so whatever, i’ll jam a lil bit.

i got into this festival for free, but i bought the $50 lobster roll with my hard earned money just like everyone else… please subscribe online or buy the awesome physical magazine below

i was walking out of the backstage area, leaving the festival and i noticed that i was walking next to joe and his band. i said hey and shook his hand, he seemed nice, idk i bet his set was awesome. 3 stars!

★★★½

i had been standing in the same spot for about 3 hours watching all the bands playing the same grassy hillside stage when i saw my friend susanna from sour widows. it was nice catching up with her and watching turnstile make the whole place go crazy. three and a half stars!

★★½

i watched geese with my friend morgan from pile of love, i think he thought they were cool. it was sweet seeing some bands with him because i feel like we have similar musical taste. i was kinda bummed because he said i could have his artist wristband, but then he bailed before giving that to me… two and a half stars…

★★★★

my friend of a friend got me into this gig, thank you for that bradley. clipse at the independent was incredible. they played for like 30 minutes, which in my opinion is the perfect set length, i fist bumped pusha t, what more could you ask for? 4 star night

★★★★★

idk how these guys do it but they make the whole place go boom. literally looked like we were in dusty mexico at a metal festival or under the macarthur maze at that crazy thing that happened and not at the sleepy deepy osl. i’ve seen them a lot and they get better every time, kinda legendary era ngl. shoutout to jake, he got me my wristband and for that we give turnstile 5 big stars

★★★½

these girls sound like metallica but awesome? i had only heard about this band the other day and wanted to see it live before i made any judgement. i love that outside lands has embraced the rocker contingency, hopefully they converted some normies n techies and edm heads and all that. 3 and a half stars

★★★★½

thank god for sierra ferrell. she gets up there on that punk rocker stage and shows everybody how to do it. with a full circus tent and a poofy clown costume you might think that something funny was about to happen, but it was actually downright spiritual whimsical magic and she’s got a great voice! great sh—, we love her 4 and a half stars.

outside lands was fine, i’m so exhausted. pls subscribe or buy the mag
