I recently surveyed readers of Called For Adventure, and something caught my attention:

21% of you said you plan to preorder my upcoming book, Story Is the Strategy—but haven’t done it yet. Another 19% said you are currently free subscribers, but are planning on upgrading to paid soon.

So, today’s post is simply me asking…

If you have been planning to preorder Story Is the Strategy, would you go ahead and do that today in one of the three ways below:

And if you have been considering becoming a paid subscriber, would you consider making today the day?

I don’t want to manufacture urgency or pretend this is your last chance. It isn’t. But I also know how easy it is to intend to do something and never quite get around to doing it. I do that all the time.

So I’m just asking.

These decisions mean more to my work than you may realize.

Every book preorder tells me—and eventually publishers and other potential partners—that there is a real audience for these ideas. It helps me cover the costs of creating and launching the book. More importantly, it gives me the confidence to keep investing the time required to make Story Is the Strategy the best book I can possibly write.

Paid subscriptions provide something equally important: stability.

They allow me to spend more of my time researching, writing, and developing the storytelling frameworks and resources I share here. They help make Called For Adventure more than a side project squeezed into whatever hours remain. They help me build this into meaningful, sustainable work.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who reads—whether you ever spend a dollar or not. I mean that. Your attention is valuable, and I don’t take it for granted.
